So there goes another weekend! they go far too quick for my liking - wish they would slow down and the working week speed up!

So on Saturday myself and Matt were meant to be heading down south to go on a MINI run with SCNM but after talking about it together we decided we wouldnt go. First time ever I think we’ve not gone on a MINI run purely becasue we couldnt be bothered Instead we decided to meet up with Ian in Guildford. We met up around 3 and I snooped over Ians new car Bond it’s very nice! was really shiney too -  I felt ashamed in my car as it was quite dirty after having a bit of a catch up, we then drove around trying to find a car park to leave the cars so we could wonder around the town. Walked round, seeing what was in Guildford town centre before deciding that with it being so hot we wanted ice cream found a new by Maccy D’s, and we were all very unimpressed by it. The woman who served us was completly useless! Matt had asked for a dairy milk mcflury, instead he got a crunchie one. When he complained and said that wasnt what he asked for, the woman said, it was dairy milk but with crunchie bits in it Ian had asked for a large vanilla milkshake and the woman forgot about it. Ian then complained and she seemed to have forgotten that she served him! he eventually got his milkshake but wasn’t what he asked for, but couldn’t be bothered to go back again and complain!

We were then trying to think of something else to do, and then thought about bowling. We headed back to the cars and drove around until we found somewhere we could bowl. We had 2 games, I won the first one by quite a lot! The second game Ian won, but that was  only because he was a jammy bugger and got 3 strikes right at the beginning of the game! Matt wasn’t pleased that he lost. I would post pics that I took while we were bowling, but they would both hate me for it

When we finished, we went back out to the cars and grabbed a couple of pics of mine and Ians cars together! here they are!

     

Matthew got in the way in the last one! So my car finally got to meet Bond I need to come up with a name for my MINI. My last one was called Dennis as it was Black and Red, just need to think of a name for the new one that goes well - any suggestions?

Anyway, after taking pictures we headed to TGI Fridays for some yummy food, had to wait ages for a table as it was so crowded. Was good though!

Onto Sunday. My sister left for the last term of uni - seems so quiet without her here - missing her already, was nice to have her back for Easter! ah well, 6 weeks and she’ll be back again! I spent the entire day at home on my own as Mum and Dad had gone with her to uni to take all her stuff back. Was nice to have some time to myself but felt kinda lonely after a while. Decided to do some more excersise and went on my stepper for about an hour and did 4000 steps!! go me! i plan on doing the same again tonight

Mum and Dad have gone away for the week, leaving me in charge of the house the only company i’ll have though is Max, my lovely cat *sigh* If it were during the summer it would be better coz then I’d have people over who are back from uni to keep me company. I’m sure I find something to keep me from going mad

Looking forward to this weekend! going to see Spiderman 3 on Saturday which I really can’t wait to see!! plus its a 3 day weekend - so I was told today so wooooooooooo! will have to try and think of something to do other than go to the cinema

Over the weekend we’ve been without the Internet. It packed up on Thursday and hasn’t worked since. My parents originally thought it was our broadband box that was the problem so they went out and purchased a new one, which we later discovered, we didn’t need to! After many phone calls to BT we’ve discovered that there’s a fault with the phone line, which is why it’s not working and is also why we haven’t been getting any calls to the house! Someone is meant to be coming to look at it today and see if he can sort the problem out and I’m really hoping he can!!

 

Although I’ve not been at home much this weekend, when I have been there I’ve wanted to/needed to use the Internet. At first I thought I could manage without it – ‘it’ll be fine’ I told myself, ‘you’ll have other things to keep you busy’. But then I discovered that I needed it as I had messages to send and things to sort out for the MINI run on Sunday. I got by that ok, as Matt let me use his net for a very short time on Saturday night and then thought again, that’ll I’ll be ok with it not being there at home. I was slightly wrong in thinking this, as after the run on Sunday and the big sleep I had after it, I was left with absolutely nothing to do. I was bored. I watched telly to see if that passed the time, but I kept wanting to get on there, check messages, see who was online and who I could talk to! It was driving me completely mad that I couldn’t get online!! I sound completely sad! I’ve always said it’s good to get away from the Internet as yes I do think I use it too much, and not being able to use it this weekend when I’ve wanted to has made me see how completely boring my life is at the moment! I would go out more and do things but who with?? Everyone I know is either at uni or lives more than an hour away from me! I’m surprised at how much I rely on it being there!

 

And before the days of MSN, forums and other cool sites, I used to be fine, had things to do and was rarely bored. So why has this changed?! Someone please tell me, it’s not just me!!!

A great weekend was had this week, and like usual, I’m sad to see the end of it and to see the workng week come in again. But hey, it has to happen!

On Saturday I had to get up at 6:30 - getting up at this time on a weekend should be against the law!!! Had an hour to get ready before having to leave to get to Matts for 8:30. I had my sis and her friend/boyfriend/whatever person following me in a little Corsa as we were all heading off to Alton Towers for the day! I annoyed my sis on the way to Matts, as they were following me and were then overtaken by a guy in a Black Cooper who then decided to follow me for ages. I was very surprised a MINI was following me as this now lamost never happens. This guy then decided to overtake me and as he did so, he gave me a cheeky smile and a wave! I then followed him until he left the motorway and I realised I’d lost my sis! :o oops! I slowed down so they could catch up and then we continued onto Matts. Got there, dropped the car off and went with Matt in his car to go to Alton Towers. It was lovely and warm out and surprisingly quiet! I would have thought that with it being a Saturday and a lovely day, there would have been more people there. Not that I’m complaining coz that meant we didn’t have to wait that long for the rides. Was a great day and we’ll be going again soon as we’ve still got some tickets to use up!

 And now to Sunday. I set my alarm to wake me up at 7 so I could get out and clean all the yukky bugs off the front of the car (7 being yet another stupid hour that should be against the law for getting up at the weekend). Thing is, the stupid thing didn’t go off!! I woke up to the sound of my family making too much noise in the kitchen below at 9!!! I rushed to get up as Jordan was meant to be coming round at 9:30 so we could head off to the start of the run! I got up in a record time of 15 mins!! was just finished getting ready and packing my bag for the day when the doorbell went and there stood Jordan. We set off to Aylesbury to meet everyone at Maccy D’s for Breakfast. I wasn’t impressed that I didn’t have any time to clean the bugs off and make it look nice and shiney but turns out, my car wasn’t the worst there and throughout the day I collected many more bug splats all over the front of the car! We chatted for ages whilst eating our breakky - I had yummy Hash Browns and a Chocolate muffin! yum! We then waited until everyone had turned up and then we set off! It was good fun! There wasn;t that many of us there but was still good fun! I found today just how much I love my new car! Being able to properly keep up with Coopers and S’s without struggling has been great! I’ve absolutly loved it!! And I’ve decided that although I miss my One D, I don’t think I’ll ever go back, I think I’m now addicted to the power of a Cooper We ended at Ikea in Milton Keynes and had lunch there which was good. Said our goodbyes to everyone and then had to find my way home I thought this would be easy but actually it wasnt - I needed the help of my trusty sat nav Eventually got home and fell asleep for 3 hours - must have been really really tired!!

 And there ends the weekend! Back to the horribleness that is work! *sigh*

So yesterday I went to London with Matthew, Becky and Jon her boyfriend. It was an early start as we wanted to spend the entire day in London. Went to pick up Becky and Jon from Becky’s house and then headed to the train station. Our train was already there just as we arrived but then drove off just as we got our tickets! any way, we waited around until the next one arrived. Evntually got into London but had to wonder around for ages looking for a Barcleys Bank for Jon as he lost his bank card and needed to get some money out for the day! Took a while but we eventually found one. Wondered around the shops for a little while and then got on a London Tour bus Didn’t do the whole thing as we didn’t have a huge amount of time. We had to finish the tour early as we had a table booked at the Rain Forest Cafe. Me and Becky really wanted to go there as the last time we went to one was when we were on holiday in Florida! We had been looking forward to it for ages! Matt didn’t like it there, said he didn’t like what was on the menu - what’s wrong with Burger and Chips? Some lunch time pics..

After our late lunch, we slowly made our way to the train station to get on the underground and find our way to the London eye. Took us a while to get on a train as it was so packed! everntually got to the London eye and sat down beneath it to chill out for a bit before we went on it. Me and Becky picked up our tickets and then we queued up to get on the eye. I’ve never been on it before so it was quite exciting. It lasted about 30 minutes and it was quite nice as we got a late flight - as they call it and the sun was setting Here are some pics from the London Eye..

       

It was so cool to finally get onto the London Eye, and see what it’s like! We spent a little while longer in London taking pics of the eye as it was getting dark, I quite like them!

So that was my day in London, was such a great day, great weather and spent with some great people Looking forward to next weekend - going to Alton Towers with Matthew and my sister Jennifer cant wait!

Well the Easter weekend has finally come to an end It’s gone far too fast for my liking! It’s been a great weekend though!

The plan for Easter Sunday were to go to Matts for the day and have a yummy roast for dinner! we got up earlyish, I gave Matt the Easter eggs he wanted - ones from sainsburys with a MINI included with the Easter egg! he seemed pleased with them! I got one Easter egg from my mum and dad and that was it! Matt didnt get me one as he doesn’t think I should have them being diabetic - which yes he is right, I shouldn’t really but still! Instead from him I got a DVD Any way, we spent the day at his which was nice and then in the evening, we had a really really really yummy roast dinner - chicken - my favorite! Spent the rest of the evening watching telly and chatting until it was time to head back.

This morning we had to get up early, as we were heading back to Windsor to go to Legoland! I’ve not been there since I was at school in year 8 (1999)! It’s mainly for kids but it was still fun to go there again Matt loved it - such a big kid! We had good fun wondering around the entire park and taking pics of all the lego statues. I took loads of of pics - will only post a few as there’s too many to post

We finished there just before 2 and didn’t want to head back home, so we decided to go to the model village in Beaconsfield. Spent about and hour there as it’s quite small The model houses they have there are really good, and must have taken them ages to make

    

We then decided to head to Tesco to get some munch for later while we were there we stumbled across the Easter egg isle - loads of Easter eggs left on the shelves, all well over half price off original marked price was really tempted to get some more while I was there to make up for the fact I didnt get many this year but decided against it, even though the prices were so good! We spent the rest of the evening at home watching random telly until Matthew had to leave me to go home! The weekend is now over, great weekend though! Looking forward to next weekend, that’s when I next get to see Matt and we’re going with Becky and her boyfriend Jon to London for the day! should be good!

So last night after writing my blog about yesterday, we settled down to have Toad in the Hole for dinner - except thats not what I had, I just had ‘hole’ Never have sausages with mine 7 of us sat round the dinner table yesterday, something that never normally happens unless its Christmas, but my nans here this weekend so we have to sit at the table myself and my dad were the only ones to finish our dinner, so there was quite lot left over from everyone else. We don’t like to waste food so we put it in a pot and give it to Annie the pig who lives in the field behind our house! She doesn’t get fed by her owner so we feed her! I called her name yesterday and she came trotting over ready for her dinner! Here she is with her food and after she finished

After feeding Annie, myself and Matt headed off to the cinema. He really wanted to see Mr Beans Holiday. Not really my normal film/something I’d like to watch, but I don’t normally get to go to the cinema with Matt as a lot of the films I want to see he doesn’t coz he’s not too into films like most people - so it was quite nice just to go together. I have to say I wasn’t too impressed with it and it’s not something I’d recommend watching. Matt seemed to enjoy it though I was quite excited about the ads for the films coming up this year to watch! Shrek the Third - I so can’t wait to see this!! Spiderman 3 - not long to go and I can see it!! woooooo! Then finally Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End!! Looking good for things to go and see if I can get someone to come with me

Today, we decided to go to Windsor. We didn’t go until just before lunch as it took me ages to wake up and get out of bed. It was a lovely sunny day again so we thought we’d go for a tour of Windor on the open top bus Only took a few pics as it wasn’t that long ago since we had been to Windsor and went around the castle, so took lots of pics then. So here’s 2 random ones that I took.

When our tour had finished, we wondered round the shops for a while and then decided to go to a Ben and Jerrys shop and get some ice cream! yum yum yum! we both had large cones with 3 scopes of ice cream - it was huge!! I felt like such a pig after I’d finished it

We soon decided to make our way home and have an evening of sitting in front of the TV and watching random Saturday night telly including Doctor Who - I’m so glad that’s back! and also watching The Game Show Marathon! It’s been a good day

Well so far my Easter weekend is going very well. It started last night (Thursday night) when I got home fromwork and went out to dinner at TGI Fridays with Becky and my sister Jennifer. We all ate far too much and it was all very fatty, but it was soooo good! We took loads of random pictures whilst we were eating, and looking back over them now, we look absolutly awful!

After dinner we headed to the cinema just up the road to go and see Premonition. Me and Becky made complete foos of ourselves when we opened a pack of Aero Bubbles, I had them between my legs and she went to get some out of the bag but as she did so, she knocked the entire bag on the floor spilling all the chocolatey goodness all over the floor! Becky had to quickly run out to buy some more so we had some yummy stuff to eat I wasn’t too sure about this film to begin with, not really sure as to what was going on, but I soon got into and quite liked it! felt like a bit of a prat when it finished as I was crying -the film’s a little bit sad! AndI’ve also decided that Julian McMahon who’s in it is really yummy!!

On to today! Friday! When I would normally be at work, but thankfully today I’m not! Slept in for quite a while this morning - something i don’t get to do much any more! Matt turned up just before 11 and we decided that seeing as it was such a lovely day out - the sun has actually appeared for once - we would get some food together and head down to Marlow and have a picnic by the river! It was lovely sunny although a tiny bit chilly but it was still nice to sit and eat outside! Plenty of other people had the same idea as us and settled down to eat and play games by the river we wondered into the town afterward to wonder round the shops and so that I could get someones birthday card we then got back to the car and headed home.

Didn’t stay home long as we then decided to take both the cars out and get some pics of them together So we drove them in the sun to find some places to stop and get pics. Was a little difficult as most of the places we could have stopped to get good pics, we couldn’t as seeing as everyone also had today off and with it being sunny, everyone was out! :p We did however manage to find a few spots to get some good shots.

Still 3 days left of the weekend wooooooo! Still have no idea as to what I’m doing, but will have to see! Hope everyone else is have a fab Easter weekend!

Yesterday I was treated to a spa day (although it didnt last a day :P). Our treatments started at 10, so I was made to get up really early (even though the spa is about 5 minutes from here) so we could lounge around the pool and sit in the sauna.  After swimming around the pool, we showered and got into our robes they had given us to wear and waited in the spa lounge. I was then taken off to a room were this woman talked me through what she was going to be doing and what oils she would be using. I was then told to take my bikini top off and get under the towls on the bed so she could begin! She started off massaging my back and my shoulders which was so relaxing! I could have fallen asleep it was that relaxing! after she had spent a long time doing that, she then told me to roll over onto my back so she could give me a facial! that felt really good too, very relaxing indeed! It was a shame that had to come to and end! If I had the money I would go there every week to get a massage! Before yesterday I had never had a professional massage before! So anyway, after that I then had my nails done. I’m now scared to do too much with my hands incase it takes the paint off When both of our treatments were complete we were told to get dressed and were then led into the dining room where we were served our lunch! That was yummy! Was a great day there and I would so go back there if I had then money! It was over£200!!!

Myself and Matt then headed back to mine for a bit before heading off to go and see Ian - he wanted to see the new car! Got to his around 4 and went for a drive around the coast.  Started to feel a little sad when we got to the town/area my nan and grandad used to live - a little weird to go back there again! soon cheered up though! Drove around some more until heading into Brighton to grab some dinner at Pizza Hut - yum! I love pizza! we then walked along the sea front towards the pier to have some fun in the arcades! Stayed there for ages playing on the games until we decided it was time to head back. Took Ian home and then me and Matt made the long journey back home.  I love driving my new car!

This evening I’m off out with my parents and my sister to see Lenny Henry which will be good! really looking forward to it! Better start getting ready - i believe we’re leaving for it in a little while!!
